As a principal and lead structural engineer with more than 25 years of bridge engineering experience, JJ is responsible for project management, report preparation, structural design, seismic studies, testing, and the evaluation of a wide variety of bridges and special structures. 

Expertise:
TS&L (Type, Size, and Location) and PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates) design development for bridges and buildings
Full-scale load testing, instrumentation & NDT
Bridge inspection; Steel bridge fatigue and fracture evaluation
Bridge rehabilitation and replacement design
Computer analysis, seismic vulnerability studies, and 3-D/non-linear modeling
